By accessing and using the Kodomint website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Service Description and Availability

Kodomint provides an online platform for purchasing curated children's clothing and related services. Our services include product sales, size consultation, monogramming services, trade-in programs, and local pickup coordination.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice. Service availability may vary by location and is subject to inventory and operational constraints.

Account Registration and Security

To access certain features of our services, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Product Information and Pricing

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing information. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, pricing, or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

All prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or product information and to cancel orders based on incorrect information, even after payment has been processed.

Order Processing and Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in product or pricing information, or suspected fraudulent activity.

Payment must be made in full at the time of order placement using accepted payment methods. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any payment method you provide to us.

Shipping and Delivery

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver products within the estimated timeframes provided. However, delivery dates are estimates only and we are not liable for delays in delivery.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier or pickup location. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and for being available to receive deliveries.

Returns and Exchanges

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery in their original condition with tags attached. Custom monogrammed items and final sale items are not eligible for return.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Trade-in Program Terms

Our trade-in program allows customers to return previously purchased Kodomint items in exchange for store credit. Items must be in good condition and meet our quality standards for resale.

Trade-in values are determined at our sole discretion based on item condition, demand, and current market value. Store credits issued through the trade-in program are non-transferable and expire 12 months from issuance.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Kodomint or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without our express written permission. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kodomint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of our services.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kodomint and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or relating to your use of our services or violation of these terms.

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association.

You agree to waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, or government actions.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the effective date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
